We have been informed today by a Nature conservationist that due to the droppings he found, we have swamp wallabies on our treed area.
How exciting!!

What have we up to?

Gary - has been in action in the lounge already. Building a dresser into a void - it's Looking good. (Will try and post pictures if they come out OK.)

Michelle - has been gardening.
Planting tree's, and reducing a flower border.
Took delivery of 13 ton of soil for Veggie patch.
(Again will try and post picture when taken)
Girls - are having a wonderful time with the freedom of the weather.
They have both just been to a Karate lesson on the Island(last night).
Weather - it chilled to 16 degrees tonight - felt quite chilly in my shorts and vest top. Brrrrr
So after hard day in garden and weather being chilly, no shower a nice cosy bath for me was had. Mmmmm

Friends

A-J loves Greeney.
And regularly goes out to see if he's about. But he only comes out at night time hence dressing gown on.

Greeney's family Home

This is Greeney's Family Home - Yes - Greeney has a partner (not sure if they're married) and a baby Greeney too.

Will try and take a picture of all 3 and post it on.

This flower pot is under our veranda in our entertaining area.

News Flash

First Encounter

The Spider

Gary was happily replacing one of the sensor lights by the house, when he looked to his right and there glaring at him on the facia board was this!!

Bloody big thing......................................................don't actually know if it's a killer but nearly gave us all heart attack. So I'd call it a killer.

But hey didn't stop us taking pictures.

Idiots!!

Greeney

Greeney is A-J and Belle's friendly frog.
As you can see he decided to take a ride on A-J's pushchair, bless him.

The wild Life reserve?!!

We have 3 acres of treed area - to be cleared - but pending as it's in a conservation area, so we're not sure of total clearing we can achieve.

Mothers Day

Here in Australia Mothers day is the second Sunday in May.
Haven't found out when Fathers day is yet (but working on it)

Back Garden - Yard!!

View the Mango tree that was already here, also the lemon, lime and avocado tree I had for an early Mothers day present.

The Pool

It's beckoning you - just test the water.
Wakka Wakka

The Pool (from another angle)

Looking back towards the house.
Sure you don't want to take a dip?
Weeds - to be removed!!

The Pool

Fancy a swim?
By day or night,
We'll just turn on the light.
Or pop the spa on to relax those muscles if you wish.
And yes I 've already cleared the border of weeds.

Sunshine

The Dam

Lillies - the edge of the dam is surrounded by these beautiful violet lillies.
We have a few small white lillies.

And they came included too.

The Dam

This is our dam which sits 50+ meters behind the garage.
Yes it's like a big pond!
We have fish in it.............and have tried fishing but with no success, one person planted a foot in the water and we caught trees while we cast.
Ooops...
We get wild ducks on it too.
Only this morning 4 were waddling around the edge.

The Garage

Not a bad size garage and tool storage shed (until Gary gets one built).
Don't hold your breath we haven't got plans for near future!!
Have a look to the left hand side of garage - yes our own Passion fruit vine, yummy!!

Halcyonhutts Australia

This is viewing our Lowset = Bungalow, from the front yard = Lawn

Did you notice the amazing blue sky.

And yes there is a cloud in the sky, not bad for Autumn though eh!

HOME

"Hello"
Yes it's been a while but we're in our own house now.
Hopefully as we get settled I'll update as we go, as well as filling in the past 2 months in which have been missed.
