Goomeri - Pumpkin Festival

Guy McClean
An amazing horseman
As soon as we arrived at Goomeri we raced to see Guy at work - with his voice, he spoke gently to his horses, as well as talking through the power in his legs.
It was amazing results.
We watched him several times throughout the day, helping people and working with his horses.
One horse he rode bareback, cracking whips- stood up on the horses bare back, resiting a poem (he'd written) and then carried on to head the parade whilst cracking whips.

Bells Creek

This was so beautiful.
And I managed to snap it out of the car window as we crossed over the bridge.
What a world to live in........

On the journey we thought it would be good to take pictures of sign posts to we and anybody else could see, where we've been and maybe what route we used on the journey.

Yes, we are passing a sign for BONGMILLERER CREEK
The above link will help you locate, not just here but around the world.

The Journey was fantastic as we travelled through amazing scenery. Also townships.
It was 2.5 hours from home and worth every bit.

Oddie

Oddie is a blue Heeler - an Australian Cattle dog.
He is now 9 weeks old.
Oddie is named after the dog from Garfield.
He's an outside dog, which suits us all.
