Update.....

Update

I am not sure if anyone even reads this anymore?
'The Hutt' was built in 2011 and clients rolled in....

Our feathered friends are doing well also at shows winner some major awards.
We have Toulouse Geese - managing to get goslings from our show pair this year ( only to lose one's legs to a rat!!)
The white Indian Runner ducks are Belle's pride and joy.
As is A-J Silver Laced Wyandotte bantams.
We can't forget the Khaki Campbell's, and the very new white Wyandottes bantams I have.
(Good job Gary loves duck eggs)

What's been happening?

What's been happening?
What's been happening?
Gary has gone back to work after 8 weeks hols........................ what a life. Family time has been the tops.
A-J is now in grade 7 and her house vice captain. Go A-J.
Belle is now in grade 4 and ready for everything.
Me well after 14 years of not working in a salon I am now back to working 2 days a week on the Island. Which is fantastic as it s only 5 mins walk away from the school.

Another day on Bribie

Having an amazing relaxing time after a 2 hour run on the beach, what better way than fishing?

Excited about our passion fruit. Passion fruit vines flourish very well down under.








Our Mangoe tree has flowers on this year for the first time A-J is so excited and looking forward to what the tree actually produces.






Lemons - I harvested our first lemons on Mothers day. Which is 2 years to the day of planting the tree in the garden.

Updates.............................

Sorry everyone have been a little slack with the updates recently.

Here's what happening in our lives at the moment;

  • Gary-Started his new job working as a carpentry lecturer in a local TAFE college - he seems really happy and has already got into his studying for his teaching diploma.
  • Michelle-Started and finished a online admin course with in 45days (should have taken 12months), was offered a job - and now works for Interconnect Education,who bring over international students to be paired with home-stays within Queensland.
  • A-J- started the new year with a new class, another male teacher (young & trendy too ouch!!), enjoying this year so far, has started to learn the violin. Has her first swimming carnival 25th of this month.
  • Belle-has enveloped being in grade 2. She is a little person so eager to learn - but a blinking know it all too. Grrrrrrrrrr.

  • Our animal kingdom grows not quite by the day but very quickly. We've just taken on more chooks and ducks.
  • Our most recent addition is our boat ' Mystery' - although Gary and I still have to get our boat licences before we can take her out. Keep an eye out for the picture of her coming soon.

These birds as make very odd noises, chucling,screeching etc.
The first night we heard them we assumed something was being killed in the wooded area.
Hmmmmmmmmm.
But when this ones Mother decided is was going to take a walk through our garden, to be seen by the us, it screeched amazingly loud.
